The fit out
Designed for long-term adventure and off-grid living, this 2025 Mercedes-Benz AWD LWB Sprinter has been transformed into a premium touring home with a focus on quality materials, functionality and timeless design.
The van is fully insulated with cork and wool for warmth and quiet, with stretch carpet over the exposed metalwork. Lino flooring, white VJ panelling and a handcrafted Tassie Oak ceiling give the interior a warm, natural feel, finished with solid Tassie Oak benchtops and cabinetry built for the space.
A custom partition wall with overhead cab storage opens up the living area, and a HappiJac electric bed system lifts out of the way when it is not in use. Below it sits an adjustable table, black tapware and handles, and a kitchen set up for comfortable off-grid cooking.
The bathroom is purpose-built, with a custom shower tray, wet area wall panelling, black fittings and a full water system with digital water and waste monitoring.
Outside, the van carries a Weldbeat rear wheel carrier and ladder, roof platform, awning, side window, roof ventilation and a large skylight.
With 110L of fresh water and 65L of grey, it is set up for long stretches away from town.
The off grid set up
Power comes from a Victron 24V system with 600Ah of battery, a 3000W inverter and Victron monitoring, so everything can be checked and managed from the one display.
240V shore power lets you plug in at powered sites, and USB-C fast charging and 240V outlets are spread through the van.
Climate is handled by Sirocco fans, a Truma air conditioner and a Truma Combi D6 diesel unit for hot water and heating.
In the kitchen there is a 130L Bushman fridge and a 35L Bushman drawer freezer.
